My feet are bigger than I thought!

So here I am sipping some hot tea ('cause its cold and windy outside) and I decide to try on my new slippers that I bought because they were on sale! They are supposed to be for sizes 9-10 but I slipped them on and I can feel my toes pushing against the sides! My feet can't be larger than a size 10! Can they! So now you know that I have got big feet!
